We Miss Daddy

Daddy asked me to give Emma a belly shake and a kiss for him...

...so I did.

We are ready for Daddy to come home.

I love being home with her

There is no better way to spend my day than with our sweet girl.
It seems like she does something new every day.
I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay home with her.
I am so grateful for my husband, the love of my life,
for giving me this incredible gift.
I will cherish these days forever.

Love the face.

Attacking Momma.

She's such a little rascal.

I probably kiss her a hundred times a day.

I truly am the luckiest girl in the world.
My life is a fairy tale.

Just a few Snapshots

Sitting up in the shopping cart like a big girl for the first time.

Laughing at herself in the mirror.

Easter Basket

Please help me decide which Easter basket to order for Emma.

Giggle Monster

I love playing with our girl and making her laugh.
Her giggle is probably my favorite sound.

A Big Day for Miss Emma Claire

It seems like just yesterday we were bringing our precious girl
home from the hospital (in a Coffman Electric onesie of course),
but today Miss Emma Claire Williams is half a year old.
The amount of joy she has brought into her Moma and Daddy's lives
in such a short amount of time is indescribable.
We love her more and more every day and that love will
continue to grow with every scootch, crawl, and step she takes.

ECW spent the day hanging out with Moma.
Our day was jam packed with play time
filled with giggles and squeals.

Enjoying some tummy time.

Chomping away on her keys.

Those beautiful blues...

Showing her love for purses at a young age.

Playing peek-a-boo.

She loves peek-a-boo so much and Moma loves
the precious giggles that come along with it.

Such a happy, playful, and perfect little girl.

But the biggest news of all is...

...she finally rolled over all by herself!!!

Moma was so proud!  I jumped around the living room and
immediately called Daddy!  He said he knew exactly
what I was about to tell him by the way I said hello.
I just couldn't hide my excitement.

A New Kind of Love

I usually don't get into the whole chocolates and roses
thing on Valentine's Day.  I think it's all kind of silly,
but this year I had a new kind of love to celebrate.
It's the kind of love I have dreamt about ever since I was a little girl.
All I have ever truly wanted is to be a Moma,
and now that my biggest dream has become a reality,
it is so much better than I ever imagined it would be.
The love one feels for his or her child
is so pure, so powerful, and so effortless.
The easiest thing in the world for me to do
is to love our beautiful baby girl.
It may not always be easy to raise her,
but loving her is the most natural thing I have ever done,
and the depth of that love will carry us through any
hardships that may come our way.
So instead of receiving flowers and candies
for Valentine's Day, my gifts consisted of giggles,
coos and caas, and slobbery kisses, all of which hold a
very special place in my heart.

In typical Emma fashion, she quit smiling and being playful
every time I tried to take pictures of her on Valentine's Day.
(She gets that from her Daddy.)

Good morning Valentine.

Giving a good "bear" hug.

Playing with the teddy bear Grammy and Grandpa sent her.

My husband gave me the greatest valentine of all
when he made me a Moma.

Blueberry Baby

Emma is moving right along in her adventure with big girl foodies.
Today began our week of blueberries, and as you can see,
she loved them.

Her smile is the best part of my day.

A Girl Can Never Have Too Many Bows

This is the bow holder I made for our little Sassy Pants.
I decorated the letters with buttons
from clothes that are now too small for her
and the ribbon is from gifts given to me at my baby shower.

Daddy's Little Princess

EC sure does love her Daddy.

She's a lucky girl to have such a wonderful Daddy.

I love the sparkles in her eyes.

Tired, but Cute

Moma's attempt at a photo shoot with a sleepy baby...

 Mid sneeze.

The only one I got with a smile on her face.

Rubbing her tired eyes.

Hopefully we will have another nice day soon so we can try again.
